This year, we have classes accommodating children who will turn two years by August 1st, 2025 and also for two, three and four-year-old’s, as well as transitional kindergarten and kindergarten students. For the 2025-2026 school year, we raised the age requirement from 18 months by Sept, 1st, to 2-years- old by August 1st. This allows us to accommodate more two-year-old children and use our staff and classrooms more effectively.
Our Savior began a private kindergarten program in 2022. Since that time, the kindergarten has doubled and tripled every year, and now we have two kindergarten classes. The kindergarten program is led by an experienced, certified teacher, who has been a lead kindergarten in the public school for many years and who has additional certifications in ESL, Gifted/Talented and reading. Our kindergarten team has certification and many years of experience. Each teacher has a full-time, experienced, assistant teacher. The kindergarten team prepares students for mastery of the knowledge and skills needed for success in first grade. If you are interested in enrolling your child in the kindergarten program, we welcome you to visit and observe our program. (972-562-9944, Ext. 2)
Open registration for all classes of all ages will begin Monday, February 2nd. Please come to the north entrance of the school to register in person. In order to register the 2nd of February, prospective students and parents are required to have scheduled a tour of the program beforehand so that we can meet the students and parents and answer any questions they may have before registering for the next school year. During the tour, parents will receive a current registration packet, or may pick up one in the preschool office if they have already had a tour sometime during the year. Paperwork needs to be ready to hand in on the first day of open registration, Monday, February 2nd, or as long as we have places available. Registration will continue beyond February 2nd as long as places are available. (Please keep in mind that places for two and three-year-old children fill up very quickly and are usually filled by the second or third day of open registration. Places for older children also fill fairly quickly.

Children in the transitional kindergarten class will attend kindergarten the following year, and will be taught the Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills for success in kindergarten.
Kindergarten students must attend five days due to the requirements of mastering all skills required for 1st grade. Children are preparing for 1st grade the following year.
*(If you do not want your child to attend five days, we also have transitional and older Preschool classes in which children turn 5 in Sept. Oct. and November, that require fewer days of attendance. Our Savior strives to meet the schedules, needs and convenience of all our parents.
Our school is 30 minutes longer than other preschool and begins at 8:45 and ends at 2:15 to accommodate the schedule of our parents. Instead of 5 hours per day, Our Savior offers a five and a half-hour per day for the same price that most schools charge for a five-hour program. Also, many faith-based schools offer only four days per week, but Our Savior offers a 5-day program to all ages. In addition, Our Savior also offers extended care from 7:00 am to 5:30 five days per week.
We are one of the only faith-based schools that have extended hours to fit the parent’s needs. Our extended care fees of $9.20 an hour are comparable to other schools offering extended care. Our extended hours are 7:00 am – 8:45 am and 2:15 pm – 5:30 pm. Using our extended care hours requires no pre-arrangement with the school. Parents are charged for only the exact time and minutes that they use and are billed on the 10th of the following month.
Spanish, Technology, and Chapel are also included in the price of the regular preschool day.
As an extra convenience, Our Savior, through third party vendors, offers afterschool enrichment classes: Music, Soccer, and Dance. As an added bonus, gymnastics is included in aftercare on Wednesday and Thursday afternoons at no cost to the parents.
Our Savior will offer the following attendance options for all classes from 2 years old through Transitional Kindergarten: Monday, Wednesday, Friday, Tuesday/Thursday, and Monday through Friday. We do not offer a four-day program. Only 2, 3 and 5 days are offered. However, the price of our 5-day program is comparable to the price of many 4 day programs, so we have many children who are enrolled for 5 days and attend the four days that are convenient to the parent. This enrollment is option is ideal for parents with less predictable schedules.
KINDERGARTEN: Will teach to the Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills that all kindergarteners are required to master for success in first grade. Kindergarten students are required to attend all five days.
