Our Savior Preschool Opened a Private Kindergarten Program in 2022.
Our Savior’s private kindergarten program is going very well! Karen Thompson, our new kindergarten teacher, has taught kindergarten for the last 10 years in public school and comes to us with excellent qualifications and lots of hands-on experience. Up until 2022, Karen was a lead kindergarten teacher in Plano ISD. Karen is certified to teach early childhood through sixth grade with special certifications in English Language Learners (ESL) Talented and Gifted and a special reading course to help teach reading to beginning readers. She is passionate about teaching and inspiring the joy of learning.
At Our Savior, children are immersed in a joyful setting where they can explore, discover and bloom. Karen’s joy, enthusiasm, sense of wonderment and her genuine love for children help create the perfect learning environment to master skills and have fun in the process!
We have rigorous curriculum based on Texas Education standards, high expectations, lower ratios, faith-based teaching, and lots of fun learning to master kindergarten and first grade knowledge and skills to be ready for the challenges and adventures of first grade. 2023-2024 Private Kindergarten Program costs: Registration is $500.00 one time a year and $600.00 monthly tuition. Our program offers extended care for working parents who want to extend the day. Extended hours are $6.00 per hour before and after school hours.
Kindergarten Fees for the new 2024-2025 school year will be raised slightly from $600.00 to $615.00 monthly fee and $500.00 to $510.00 yearly registration. Hourly aftercare fees have been changed from $6.00 to $6.75 per hour beginning in August of 2024.
School hours are 8:45-2:15, Monday through Friday. We also have an extended care program that requires no prearrangement and is in operation from 7:00 am until 5:30 pm.
